Thai AGC (ACTH), the leader of Chlor-alkali business in Thailand, and Vinythai, the leader in manufactured caustic soda, PVC, and Bio-based Epichlorohydrin announce the new business integration under the name “AGC VINYTHAI PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED” or AGC VINYTHAI PLC. The establishment is considered to be the most significant investment in AGC groups by using modern technology to enhance the production capacity of its existing manufacturing to reduce environmental impact and capture the growing markets in Southeast Asia where the Caustic Soda and PVC markets are expected to grow approximately 4% per year. This business expansion will also strengthen competitiveness and solidify AGC’s leading position in Southeast Asia’s Chlor-Alkali business.
